The Kliniken Südostbayern AG are the most important provider of health services in Southeast Bavaria. With their five locations Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden, Freilassing, Traunstein and Trostberg they provide for an annual number of 47,000 in-patients. Having roughly 4,000 employees, the Kliniken AG is one of the most prominent enterprises in the region.

With the exception of very few areas (such as Heart Surgery) the Kliniken Südostbayern AG cover the entire medical spectrum. We define our treatment and care processes in accordance with our patients and ensure their provision based on the highest standards of medical and care facilities. Our patients are at the centre of our actions.

Training at the Kliniken AG

These tasks can only be provided by highly trained, motivated and satisfied employees. Therefore we place high value on initial training as well as further and specialized training facilities. We are one of the biggest training providers in the region and offer an annual 240 training opportunities for young people in areas such as Care, Administration and Technical job specifications.

The Klinikum Traunstein and the Kreisklinik Bad Reichenhall are Academic Teaching Hospitals of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. Both clinics take on teaching tasks for the university during the “Practical Year for Medical Students” for the education of future Medical Staff. All locations offer Medical Specialisation opportunities as well as further and technical training.

Security for Patients

Our treatment protocols are undergoing permanent revision in order to improve security for patients in terms of treatment and hygiene. One focus area is the prevention of clinical infections. Additionally a Patient-Security-Information System was implemented to render insights into risk situations and to develop new security structures for treatments.

In order to constantly work on a high level of quality, we are open for future oriented developments and technological progress. In doing so we utilize the findings and opportunities of both medical and care related research and developments.

Quality Management

The Kliniken Südostbayern AG is using Quality Management Systems and is certifying our quality standards. We are conscious of protecting the environment and regularly revise technologies and methods applied. The Kliniken Südostbayern AG are taking active part in the Environment Pact Bavaria. We exceed regulatory demands.
